THE DETAILS

This summer, join us on the banks of the beautiful & shady Finley River as we host River Jam 2018. We are gathering to celebrate local water through hands-on, interactive activities, live music, beer & food stands, a crawdad boil, with the help from water loving businesses and organizational booths.
 

2018 PARTNERS

We are joining together with KY3 / KSPR to bring you this year’s annual James River Basin Partnership event and fundraiser. 50% of admission will directly benefit JRBP's ongoing non-profit water quality mission here in the Ozarks! Also say "hello" and "thank you" to Ozark High School Marching Band parents and volunteers for their help at this year's River jam.

WHY OZARK?

We are returning back to the water for the third year at the Finley River Park in Ozark Missouri to celebrate the beauty and necessity of clean local waterways in the James River watershed and beyond.

We are gathering to celebrate local water through hands-on, interactive activities, live music, beer & food stands, a crawdad boil, with the help from water loving businesses and organizational booths.

GET COMFY

We encourage you to bring your picnic blankets, camping chairs, foldable chairs, umbrellas, sunscreen, …whatever you may need to stay comfy at this exciting day at Finley River park. Note: coolers and pop-up tents are not allowed.

EXPERIENCE THE RIVER

First sign a waiver with Bass Pro Shops (must have adult consent (18+)), then enjoy a leisurely Bass Pro Shops pontoon boat ride up the Finley River -or - hop in a canoe/kayak on the Finley River while being supervised by experienced paddlers from Ozark Mtn Paddlers and Springfield-Greene County Park Board Outdoor Initiatives, River Jam guests can safely test out canoes and kayaks with trained personnel. 

LIVE MUSIC & STAGE SHOWS

12:30pm: Guided musical yoga with Sangha Studio: Yoga, Ayurveda + Shoppe and Austin from The Electric Groove Company (enjoyable for all levels, use your blanket, the grass, or bring a mat)

1:30pm: Animal education show by Wonders of Wildlife

2:00pm: Smokey Folk 

3:30pm:  "Camping Raffle" Winner announced

3:45: Animal education show by Wonders of Wildlife

4:15pm: Sunset to Burns 

6:45pm: The Shotgun Brothers Band

8:00pm:  Music Intermission & "Fishing Raffle" Winner announced

FOOD & FARE

Stroll the line of food vendors with some local favorites.
Then head into our Crawdad Quarter for our crawdad boil! How many thousands of pounds of crawdads will we go through this year? Get delicious mudbugs provided by Big Pop's Fresh Louisiana Gulf Seafood.

Feeling parched? Looked no further than our Springfield Brewing Company & Wil Fischer tent and truck. Or grab a cool drink from Ozarks Coke and DP Bottling Company
