SORRY, YOU JUST MISSED IT! REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED....
On Saturday, June 17th the Ozark Mtn Paddlers and our organization will be hosting our largest, annual River Rescue clean-up event where volunteers will work together to remove trash from our local waterways.
This year’s clean-up will be held on a stretch of the James River. We will be putting in and taking out on beautiful private property access points. (Additional information and directions will be emailed out to registered individuals.)
Cost to participate is $15 per person and includes shuttling, lunch and a collectible River Rescue t-shirt. With our door prizes and a raffle, it could be your chance to win!
Currently all JRBP canoes have been reserved.
Have your own boat? Bring it!
Grab your work shoes and we will provide gloves and bags for this clean-up. Dress for the weather & river in something you don’t mind getting dirty. Please no open-toed shoes. We encourage you to bring refillable water bottles, sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses and a hat.
Adult shirt included with payment of pre-registration. FREE kids registration does not include a t-shirt. Additional River Rescue t-shirts will be available for purchase at River Rescue for $10 each (S, M, L, XL, 2XL) based on available quantities, and first-come, first-serve basis.
Check-in waiver and sign-in begins at 8:00am.
As we shuttle cars to the take-out location, we expect to be on the river by 9:00am.
