Clean-Up Stretch: Greenways Trail, Silver Springs to Smith Park, and back (approximately 1 mile)
Clean-Up Time: 11:00am – 12:00pm
Lunch Location: Finnegan's Wake (live music from Regulate the Vibe)
Lunch Time: 12:15pm – 2:00pm
THE DETAILS
To celebrate "The Last Straw" movement happening in Springfield to reduce and eliminate single-use plastics in Springfield, MO and beyond - JRBP and Finnegan's Wake will host an urban stream clean-up day - with a FREE lunch immediately following at Finnegan's Wake & FREE t-shirts from Wil Fischer.
Additionally, an expert speaker, will walk alongside volunteers to discuss the "daylighting" of Jordan Creek, plastic pollution, urban litter and how it effects our community, and more!
